Your front desk can only look at one person at a time.
NYMA answers over WhatsApp and SMS using your hotel's information, at any hour and in the guest's language. The front desk reviews at first, then lets go of the everyday ones: wifi, breakfast, how to get there. Airbnb and Booking threads do not come through yet.
Connecting your PMS
The two hotel systems we are assessing, and how they stand today.
- MewsWe're looking into it
- CloudbedsWe're looking into it
The guidebook, what it knows about each room, supervision and languages do not go through the PMS. Those already work in your hotel today.
The problem
A day at the front desk, in three shifts.
Morning departures, arrivals all at once and late-night messages.
Morning
Departures, a queue, and the housekeeping report.
Three people waiting to drop a bag, the desk phone ringing and housekeeping needing to know which rooms they can start on. Meanwhile the same four questions keep arriving on the phone: what time is breakfast, is there parking, how do I get here from the station, can I check out later.
Afternoon
Arrivals, and nearly all at once.
A group checking in together, two room changes and 214 asking for towels. Every question answered at the desk is one not being answered on the phone, and the other way round. There is no way to do both well at the same time.
Night
One person alone, and no memory of it tomorrow.
The flight landing at half past eleven writes to say they will be late. They get a good answer, or they get none. Either way, the morning shift will not know what they were told.
None of this is an effort problem. It is that the conversation with the guest does not fit behind the desk and does not survive a shift change.
Today
What already works in a hotel, without touching your PMS.
Four things already work in your hotel with nothing connected: they stand on what your team writes, not on your software. At a front desk they work exactly as they do anywhere else, because they depend on no connection at all.
Works today
What it knows, per hotel.
What the front desk answers twenty times a day gets written once and stops depending on who is on shift. The initial set-up comes from the history of conversations and from reviews, and no suggestion is published unless the team approves it.
Works today
Nothing goes out unreviewed. Until the front desk says otherwise.
Every reply is drafted first and leaves when a person approves it. You hand over control when you trust it, not before, and you can stop it on the spot.
Works today
The guidebook, in the room and at the desk.
Breakfast, wifi, check-out, how the air conditioning works. You build it in an editor with eight styles and publish it with a stable QR: the link does not change even if you reorder the whole guide.
Works today
It answers in the language it was written in.
The guest writes in theirs and gets the answer in theirs. We have tested it end to end, from the message to the reply. Your team's panel is in Spanish and English.
The agent that answers over WhatsApp and SMS already works too. Airbnb and Booking messages depend on the PMS, and we are still assessing Mews and Cloudbeds. Until that connection exists, what it knows comes from what your team has written and from the guidebook.
And two more ways to ease the front desk.
They work without changing your PMS. Your team stays in control.
Works today
The tone, in writing.
Set rules, tone and limits. Preview a test reply before saving.
Works today
One link for the room.
From one link, guests open the guidebook, request extras and report an issue. Custom forms and satisfaction surveys are not included.
What is missing
And now the part that is not there.
Everything above stands on what your team writes. What stands on your system — the bookings, the availability, the calendar, the rates, the inbox carrying the context of each stay — needs a connection that does not exist for hotels today. These are the two systems we are assessing, and this is everything we can tell you about them:

If your PMS is not on the list, we cannot show you your bookings or your calendar yet. What already works from day one is what the guest sees: answering them, the guidebook and the languages.

The limits, briefly.
This is what remains outside the product or depends on a connection.
Your hotel PMS
We're assessing this
While we are still assessing Mews and Cloudbeds, NYMA does not read your bookings or your availability: what it knows about the hotel is what your team has written for it.
The panel over your bookings
Depends on the connection
The home screen, the calendar, the rates, the copilot that answers you and booking-platform messages in the inbox all rely on a connected PMS. They exist, but in a hotel they arrive once that connection exists, not before.
Digital check-in
Live, with an outside company
Guests leave their details before arrival. An outside company handles the official filing; NYMA does not store that data.
Extras and payment
Live, no payment built in
The guest requests and the hotel approves. Payment is not included: extras are charged wherever you already charge them today.
